Birthday Fiesta Surprise
In Venezuela nobody sings a plain birthday tune: the family strikes up Ay, qué noche tan preciosa before the candles go out. The Birthday Fiesta Surprise is the bouquet to have on the table when that happens. A local florist mixes bright fresh blooms into a festive bunch made for cumpleaños of every age, from an abuela in Maturín to a best friend in Guatire. If you are far away, order for the day of the gathering and add a line on the card so everyone knows who sent it. Relatives abroad order Birthday Fiesta Surprise for a cumpleaños or a fiesta de quince años in Venezuela, when everyone sings Ay, qué noche tan preciosa. A local florist delivers it by hand, so your greeting is there in person.
